| Babblemania! is an exciting new transmedia venture created by Spoken World LLC. a young, innovative company whose founders have extensive experience in producing high quality family entertainment.
Our mission is to utilize media and technology to provide children with second-language skills. They need those skills to participate at the highest level in a world that is increasingly multi-ethnic, multicultural and multilingual. Our experience with feature films and network television proved that at the heart of attracting the attention of young minds was the magic of a story and characters. We used that approach with Babblemania! The sole purpose was to keep kids glued to their world of interactive and online games that actually teach something useful for their future success To create Babblemania!, we brought in experts in language curriculum and digital game design. A leading professor, researcher and author of linguistics charted the curriculum. Game design veterans from Lucas Learning/Lucasfilm and Rockstar Games designed the action to retain the magic of simplicity in a world educational game play. Our partnerships with major media companies in North America, Europe and Asia will assist in the launch of this exciting and important venture and its ongoing development. |
